Thinking....

Tonight I have been feeling a little down, feeling like don't have my life where it should be. And when saying should be I'm not sure by who's standards I'm expecting myself to reach; mine, yours, gods, everyone hmm not sure who's I want to meet, maybe all of them!

I am 21 years old, and have almost 3 children under the age of 3 years old! I am a very young momma and wife! I have been going to school the last three years to complete my pre-reqs in order to get into the RN program. Where I live you have to get straight A's to even have a chance to get into the program. SO I've worked hard and slowly at doing so. I'm really in my last leg of my pre-reqs, I should feel very proud of myself, but I've been feeling inadequate tonight. I'm not sure why, I'm doing very well(yup say it again Mikayla ;-) ) and no one I know has their career yet who is my age, no one kids or no kids! I'm almost to my goal of getting into the RN program, I'm making my dream come true! I have three beautiful babies who have blessed me beyond my imagination, I never in my life imagined to be a young mother, and to have three kids, but I am happy so happy. I feel like I was meant to be a mother a not any mother a mother to these three children who god gave to me!!!

I was thinking about god's role in my life, and how is my center in my thoughts, morals, decisions, I try to encompass him in all that I do. So, when I get these feelings of doubt, sadness who better to turn to than my father? I felt reassured that no matter what plan I have for myself, for my family that god has a planned perfectly planned how for me, wow isn't that the best! He doesn't think I'm behind, or not good enough in fact I'm on his path and while I'm not quite certain what that is or where it goes I know if I trust in him it will be good, and has been he has blessed me with so much, and I'm truly grateful for that and for these little ones who make my life 1000000000000 times better!

Christmas Shopping in October?!?

Yup Im already getting a head start! That way I have a good idea of what I need to buy and for who! I really don't want to over do it this year on toys so here is what I am thinking for Noah and Gracelynne added with some clothes

A doll pram for Gracelynne who recently has been becoming quite the little mommy to all her babies :-)

A vet kit for my little boy who wants and dog and loves to play doctor!

A fishing pole for mr. Noah the avid fisherman

Their joint, "BIG" gift


Now I just need one more thing for my little girl, and a few little things, puzzle, a couple books etc.

New clothes!

Why do they make maternity clothes so darn cute?!? I have never been pregnant in the fall/winter it was alaways spring/summer so I had no idea what I was missing, long sleeves, sweaters, turtlenecks oh-my! I went to a local motherhood maternity in search of a pair of maternity jeans- and when I say a pair I meant singular :-) And here is just a look at what I left the store with :-) The saleswoman were so helpful my stroller was stacked sky high with maternity clothes!

Baby names!

Let me start out by saying I love baby names! I was a yahoo best answers in baby names for months, but boy did that get old fast!

It was so easy picking our childrens names in the past because Roger and I had picked out names when we were 15...weird I know! Noah Michael was for sure our first boy name and Gracelynne Ann Marie till my sister passed away in 2007 and it became Gracelynne Destini. We also had the Name Olivia-Kate and Jackson I think. Well we kind of out grew the name Olivia due to its high popularity. And so this pregnancy we have actually had to think about names.

Our names as of right now are Riley no middle name yet, im pulling for Riley Hudson or Hudson Riley if I get my way (dont count on it though) and I might not even get Hudson for the middle name, only time will tell. But Im a little apprehensive about the name Riley because it's used as a girl name like 90% of the time, so I may be on the boy name search....

Girl name is Scarlett im 100% sold-in love with this name, although I don't think most people are in love with it, that doesnt really matter to me. So middle names are maybe going to be Scarlett Jillian, Scarlett Elizabeth or Scarlett Robyn after my momma!

I've been looking for new bedding for about a week now as a wedding gift to myself...oh and my husband I guess too ;-) and I came across this at Macys, it is by Martha Stewart (love her) and I just fell in love, it's a 24 piece set. Can you believe that? And the very best part is the price tag I think it's 140.00 for a queen-I just love me a good deal! I am going to Macy sometime very soon and hopefully they will have it in stock so I don't have to wait for shipping!



Oh and I now have 7 followers all who I adore :-) I plan to do a little giveaway when I hit 10, I better start blogging more often so I don't lose anyone LOL

Noah goes to preschool

Yup my lil 3 year old boy went to preschool. He LOVED it, he had been talking about going all summer long. After long and hard search for the, "perfect" preschool I picked a little christian preschool in a new church. I just kept coming back to this one and felt like it was the right one for my lil lion! So on Sept. 14th I got my lil man up and dressed for school. He is usually not a morning person but the second he heard preschool he was outta that bed just as fast as can be!

When we got to the preschool he went right into his classroom and started playing with everything, when I told him I was going to leave he said, "You be right back" and I said, "Yup momma will be right back as soon as preschool is over," he said, "OK" and I said success!

When I picked him up he was in a great mood, the teacher told me he had trouble sitting still for the story and such...lol he's 3 :-) I read in positive parenting that a 3 year old has more energry than any other age group-makes sense!

My little girl

My little girl is stubborn, she has and will do things on her own time. She loves to do things that terrify her mother, like climb up the slide, and run on the couch. My little girl loves minnie mouse, loves her big brother who she sometimes calls gracelynne and loves to eat. She sings beautiful and her smile litghts the room, her belly laughs are contagious. My little girl is my little angel whom I loved before I met her, and dreamed of how beautiful she would be, and she is that and more and best of all she is my little girl!

12 weeks, movin right along :-)

Funny when I was pregnant the first time It couldnt have moved any slower, and with Miss Gracelynne it just flew by, probably because I was busy with little man, he was only 11 months old when she was born (yes I know what causes this LOL frequent question Im asked in random places by strangers, I laugh it off and say, " I think we may have figured it out ;-) ) Anyways, this time it has been going by fast, but I order these stickers off Etsy, and want to take pictures of my soon to big ole belly :-) Here are the 12 weeks pictures!

Fall is almost here, so let the decorating begin!

So I have been waiting out the end of summer, to welcome my favorite season: fall. I love fall here in Oregon, the leaves, all the colors, the crisp hair, everything is so beautiful. Come Sept. 1st I was ready for summer to come to an end and welcome fall with open arms. I made a trip to the good ole dollar tree and this is what all I came up with!



This is my window decor above my sink, everything but apothocary jar is the dollar tree, the jar was $9 at Ross :-)

Coast Trip

My momma and I took the kids to the beach. Here in Oregon nice beach days are few and far between, but it happend to be 90 degrees that day! Down on the beach is was still pretty winding, but still a great day at the oregon coast!

Noah did not like the sand at first, he cried all the way down till we got on the wet hard stuff, that's my boy :-) Gracelynne on the other hand loved it and plopped down right away to began playing, and that's my girl :-) Love how they are so unique with their own little personalitys, or big ones!

News, news and more news!!

Where to begin when I have been such a blog slacker. So last time I posted we went to Arizona. July is an eventful month because both Noah and Gracelynne's birthdays are in July.

Gracie turned 2 years old on July 7th :-) We went to Red Robin where she ordered Mac & Cheese! We came home and did presents. Her favorite was her new Jessie doll from Toy Story. She also got a trike, which she can already peddle by herself. She had a minnie mouse cake, because minnie is her new favorite! It was a great day, I cannot believe my little baby girl is already 2!





Noah turned 3 July 28th. We had a joint birthday for them at a Pizza Parlour. It went very well, almost everyone showed and the kids were spoiled! Noah had a Toy Story themed party, it was really cute!




And as of August 11, 2010 I am a married woman! The kids dad and I have been together 7 years in December and we decided one morning to get married (we were already engaged) and I made the plans and we got married that night at 7:30. It was simple and beautiful and so perfect. I am so happy I made the last minute decision. Just my parents, his best friend, my two best friends came. I loved how simple it all was, there was no fuss or hoopla!






And the biggest announcement of all is March 26th, 2011 we are expecting the arrival of our 3rd child. March 26th was my sisters birthday, I just think this is a miracle and such a blessing. We are also not going to peek, and wait till the baby is born to find out if we are having a baby boy or little baby girl! Noah is very excited and wants a brother, and guess what Gracie wants a sister-go figure!
